Series Performance - The best value in sound reinforcement Designed to deliver the best value in sound reinforcement speaker cabinets, Yorkville offers the Performance series. With updated looks and improved technology, the Performance series brings professional quality full-range P.A. speaker technology within reach of the cost-conscious performer. The Performance series benefits from Yorkville's thirty-five plus years of P.A. enclosure engineering experience to bring you lighter weight, trapezoidal enclosures incorporating improved components and crossovers. Performance stage monitors have been updated to a "side-by-side" format with a vertical horn and the rectangular powered enclosures have also been given a face-lift.The Performance series was designed with working musicians in mind. The trapezoidal shape lends a modern appearance to the line while allowing efficient arrays. The all plywood cabinet construction is lightweight, rugged and great sounding. Internally the cabinets are well braced and drivers are mounted solidly to withstand the rigors of transportation. Cabinets are built road-ready with easy-to-clean durable blue-black carpet covering, heavy-gauge perforated metal speaker grilles, integrated speaker stand adapters, non-skid plastic feet and metal corner protectors.Other recent developments include an improved constant-directivity horn for better off-axis response in the high frequency range. Additionally, high frequency drivers are protected by special CTL™ (current-to-light) conversion circuitry, which enables them to continue to function, without damage, during typical overload. conditions. The Y110M, Y112M, Y115M and the Y150M use similar components to their full-range brothers but have revised crossover networks that make them particularly suited for stage monitoring applications. The Y112M and Y115M incorporate an upgraded 1" high frequency driver mounted on a short vertical horn for maximum clarity, especially in the all important vocal range. The Y150M features a robust 1" high frequency driver with a 2" titanium diaphragm mounted on a large format wave guide horn. Two 1/4" inputs jacks are provided in each cabinet so that multiple monitors can be linked together for easy set-up. The high output Y150 takes the Performance series to the next level. The robust high frequency driver incorporates a 2" titanium diaphragm and is mounted on a large format wave guide horn with a tight 60 degree dispersion that puts the sound where you want it!! The new technology 15" low frequency driver delivers superior punch and power handling, and is acoustically welded to the high frequency driver using the latest crossover technology for superior imaging. The enclosure also utilizes non-symmetrical, tuned teardrop-shaped ports for enhanced frequency response. Translation? These cabinets sound fantastic!! The Y150's are perfect for application in small to medium sized venues and can also be combined with the easy-to-use Y118PW powered subwoofer for a serious, economical, front of house system.

The Y118S is a mid-sized, passive subwoofer utilizing Yorkville’s proprietary acoustic loading technology, which was originally developed for our high-end élite LS608 subwoofer. Although it has a lower power rating than the élite version, the Y118S provides comparable performance in a highly cost effective package. This mid-sized bass cabinet uses an affordable 18" driver and is well suited for use in a wide variety of "bass-deprived" applications.

The ultimate in portable 'plug and play' convenience, you can simply plug a portable CD player or microphone directly into the Y115P and crank it up for wall shaking sound. Easy to transport, easy to connect, great sounding and affordable – what more could you ask for? Although the external user interfaces on the powered enclosures are simple, the internal workings incorporate a complex limiting strategy. Each circuit has been specifically designed to control the interaction of the custom-designed components with the internal power amplification, thus maximizing output level and sonic integrity while ensuring safe operation. The Y115P includes 210W of bi-amp power (180W LF / 30W HF) for a robust, compact, easy-to-use package. Both XLR and 1/4" input jacks are provided to accept either line (mixer / microphone) or speaker (power amp) level signals for maximum application flexibility. Other features include a level control, ground lift and loudness switch.

Although the external user interfaces on the powered enclosures are simple, the internal workings incorporate a complex limiting strategy. Each circuit has been specifically designed to control the interaction of the custom-designed components with the internal power amplification, thus maximizing output level and sonic integrity while ensuring safe operation. The compact-format Y118PW powered subwoofer features a single 18" custom-designed Eminence speaker mounted in an acoustically braced plywood enclosure. The rear mounted power amplifier provides better than 200 Watts continuous (over 440 Watts peak) of low-frequency power. The single 1/4" input and output jacks accept either a line (mixer) or speaker (power amp) level signal for easy addition to existing "bass deprived" systems. A level control is also provided to allow the user to blend sub-bass to taste.
